Becca Sarich is a Herbalist, Registered Nurse, Certified Nurse-Midwife and Professional Practitioner of the Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Massage. She has been studying holistic health and herbal medicine for more than 15 years.  She’s had a rich journey growing, discovering, and learning about the effectiveness and richness of these modalities.

Becca’s love of the plant world and holistic healing began when she starting training in various forms of holistic healing, including Reiki, yoga and herbal medicine.  She began a Bachelor’s Degree in Holistic health.  During this time she began formal studies apprenticing with Western and Chinese herbalists, home birth midwives, acupuncturists and body-workers.  She completed an interdisciplinary training to become a certified yoga instructor as well as a prenatal yoga instructor and taught yoga classes while pursing herbal studies and began her studies to become a nurse-midwife.  In 2003, she completed another Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Nursing at Columbia University in New York and became a Registered Nurse.  Following this, she continued her education in advanced practice nursing, earning a Master’s Degree at Yale University and obtained board certification as a Certified Nurse-Midwife.  Becca also completed an apprenticeship with herbalist, Demetria Clark, of Heart of Herbs. In 2005, she was fortunate enough to complete an Advanced Herbal Training Program at Sage Mountain in Vermont that included herbalists Rosemary Gladstar, David Winston, Kate Gilday, Christopher Hobbs, and many other well-known herbalists as instructors.

Becca has the support of a wonderful husband and mom and is filled with gratitude to be a mother of two amazing children.  She continues to foster her passion of working with people and medicinal herbs…together, a wonderful healing combination.  Contact Becca at or (413) 489-1063.
