This March, Kate celebrated 15 years as the Director of Shelburne Falls Yoga, and we’re having a party!
Join us on Saturday April 25 for:
Celebration Slow Flow Yoga with Kate, 2:15-3:15pm: Please join us for a celebratory, joyful hour of mindful movement! This no-cost/donation-based class is open to all levels and registration will remain open until the class has filled (capacity 20). Slow Flow Yoga combines gently-paced, standing posture flow with balance work, joint movements, seated postures, and moments of stillness, with options for many levels offered.
Reception and Benefit Drawing, 3:30-4;30pm: Join us at 3:30 for some good company and light refreshments, including Kate’s famous gluten-free cake! A donation drawing to benefit Born Free Food Pantry will take place at 4:15. See below for details.
REGISTER HERE to save your space in the class and/or let us know you’re coming to the reception.

During the month of April: Donate to Born Free Food Pantry for a chance to win a maple & walnut shelf (20″ x 12″ x 18″, retail value $1,100) donated by Coughlin Fine Woodworking. You may enter the drawing with any donation to the food pantry. (A $20 donation per drawing entry is suggested).
You can donate & enter:
- at the studio with a cash donation or with a check made out to Born Free Outreach Services Inc. OR
- online by making a donation directly to Born Free Food pantry here. (If you’ve donated online and would like to enter the drawing, send Kate an email at shelburnefallsyoga@gmail.com with your name, email, phone #, and we’ll put in your drawing entry for you.)
The winner can pick up the shelf at Shelburne Falls Yoga at your convenience. You don’t need to be present on the 25th to win!

The volunteer team at Born Free Food Pantry
All proceeds from the class and donation drawing will benefit Born Free Food Pantry, an exceptional program providing essential food and services to people in need in Springfield, MA and the surrounding area. In the past year, Born Free Food Pantry distributed over 200,000 lbs. of food and provided thousands of food pantry deliveries to homebound individuals. Born Free Food Pantry is operated by Shelburne Falls Yoga student Charlie Holmes, and Charlie will be joining us to draw the lucky winner!

What an eventful 15 years this has been! Through many challenges, including a pandemic that closed our brand new facility just weeks after an unexpected move and sent us online for nearly a year, our community has grown, thrived, and supported one another with grace and adaptability. Whether you’re an old friend or a brand new friend, thank you for your kindness and support, and thank you for being a part of Shelburne Falls Yoga!
