Originally from Memphis, Tn Wombwell has been teaching and creating dances for over forty years.  After dancing and choreographing for Ballet Memphis and Project: Motion, Wombwell moved to New England to run the dance program at Phillips Academy in Andover, Ma.   She established, DeadFall Dance, from 2008-2016 to create more experimental work with professional dancers.  Honored to be part of the artistic awakening of so many students, Wombwell is working continuously to expand her knowledge and understanding of inclusive and equitable teaching practices.   She also maintains an art studio in Shelburne Falls Ma where she practices origami.
