Emily took her first yoga class 20 years ago and hated every minute of it. She had paid for a whole series, so she stuck it out and slowly realized that the more she practiced, the more at home she felt in her own body and mind. Emily finds that the challenges and successes she meets on her yoga mat teach her so much about navigating the rest of her life. Her other loves are exploring in the outdoors, playing in the kitchen, and finding small ways to have an adventure every day.
Emily completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in the summer of 2013, and her classes are a blend of mindfulness, flow, and thoughtful challenges. She had her first child in 2015 and found pre-natal yoga to be a wonderful way to feel comfortable in her changing body and to prepare physically and mentally for childbirth. Emily completed her Pre-Natal Yoga Teacher Training at Yoga Den Studios in 2016.
